Jay began his voice acting and broadcasting career more than 30 years ago in high school in New Orleans, Louisiana and continued on-air while attending Louisiana State University. He has served in various on-air and management roles at radio and TV operations from Baton Rouge and New Orleans, to Kansas City, Nashville, Philadelphia, Columbia, and Charleston, South Carolina. An award-winning voice actor with both west coast and Charleston agency representation, Jay has national radio and television commercials to his credit. In Charleston, Jay is not only morning host on Classic Hits 92.1 and 102.1 “The City”, Jay is an on-air host and producer for the Citadel Sports Network, covering athletics for The Military College of South Carolina. Jay also spent time in the music business in Nashville, Tennessee where among other things he was National Promotion Manager for MCA Records where he worked with the likes of George Strait, Reba McEntire, and many others. Jay has been married to his lovely bride Lisa for 27 years and has a son Nick, 26 who graduated from The Citadel in 2012 and a daughter Katie, 22 who is attending cosmetology school. In his spare time Jay enjoys volunteering with the South Carolina Talking Library, acting in community theater, grilling out and spending time with family.
